At St. Michael’s High School, the academic program is designed to provide a strong and well-rounded foundation for every learner. The school follows the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) syllabus, with English as the first language and Kannada as the second language, ensuring both academic excellence and regional relevance.
A structured system of assessments and examinations is followed. For students from Nursery to Standard III, continuous assessments are conducted to monitor progress and support early learning. Formal examinations begin from Standard IV onwards. Tests are conducted in two rounds—one in the first half of Term I and another test will be held in the first half of Term II.
In addition, major examinations are scheduled systematically across the academic year. The Half-Yearly Examination is conducted during September/October, while the Annual Examination takes place in March. This balanced approach helps in regular evaluation, encourages consistent learning, and supports the overall academic development of students.
