Mrs. Betsy Chacko, born on 10th September 1940, was the visionary founder of St. Michael’s School. After returning from Africa to Bangalore in 1984, she started the first St. Michael’s School at Vivekananda Nagar with only a Nursery class. Despite facing many struggles, including a battle with cancer, she remained determined and dedicated to providing quality education to children.
In 1989, she established St. Michael’s School at Geddalahalli with just seven students. Through her hard work, faith, and perseverance, the school gradually grew and earned a strong reputation for academic excellence. Mrs. Betsy Chacko passed away on 3rd July 2001, leaving behind a lasting legacy of service, dedication, and commitment to education.
