Ms. Pooja V is an academician and researcher in the field of Commerce and Finance, currently serving as Jr. Assistant Professor of Finance at the Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bengaluru. She holds a master’s degree in commerce from the University of Mysore, has qualified UGC-NET and K-SET in Commerce, and cleared the CMA Intermediate examination. She has also completed an Executive Education Program in Women Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). With over four years of teaching experience across postgraduate and undergraduate levels, she has taught Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Cost and Management Accounting, Managerial Economics, GST, Direct Tax, and Research Methodology. Her research interests lie in finance, commerce, entrepreneurship and management education, with papers published in Scopus-indexed journals and presentations at leading academic forums, including the Indian Management Conclave (IIFT, New Delhi). She is also gaining familiarity with finance databases and analytical tools, particularly Bloomberg, to integrate real-time financial data and analytics into her teaching and research. She actively mentor’s student research and internship projects and is deeply committed to advancing academic excellence through impactful teaching, collaborative research, and strong industry-academia engagement.
