The Summer Internship Programme (SIP) at XIME is a mandatory 8-week corporate immersion undertaken by students at the end of their first year of the PGDM programme. Designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world management practice, SIP provides hands-on exposure to live business environments across domains such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Operations, Consulting, and IT/ITES. During the internship, students work on real organisational challenges, applying analytical frameworks and managerial concepts to develop problem-solving, decision-making, and professional skills valued by recruiters. This structured industry experience significantly strengthens students’ résumés, enhances employability, and often leads to Pre-Placement Interviews (PPI) and Pre-Placement Offers (PPO), preparing XIME students to be industry-ready for final placements.

The career offices share Job descriptions, skills sets required and the screening process, stipend figures and payout information and other relevant info.
Applications from the students are routed through the SIP Committee and profiles are shared with the companies.
The companies run the screening process in campus or on virtual mode.
The elected students receive internship offers, location and terms are communicated for consensus.
All subsequent internship related communication will continue via internships@xime.org between the Career Office and the companies.
