The Socially Useful & Productive Activity (SUPA) is a mandatory, three-week, full-time experiential internship embedded in the XIME PGDM programme. During SUPA, all learners are expected to work hands-on with an NGO, ESG/CSR organisation, foundation, society, hospital, SME, or social enterprise to understand real societal concerns and opportunities in the community, apply management learning, and propose offer proactive solutioning.
SUPA expands management education beyond business functions by letting them start where it matters the most, prompting students to apply people-centric, empathetic, analytical, digital, operational, and problem-solving skills in real-life community scenarios. Learners develop empathy, gain social immersion and engagement with people from diverse backgrounds, and build skills such as reflective thinking, social responsibility, ownership and execution as core competencies and outcome based actions required for emerging managers.
